Sinclair Communications was started by Cliff Blackburn in 1990.
The audio industry was growing up, and there was a need in W.A.for a dedicated Professional Audio supplier to service the awakening marketplace.

Cliff Blackburn spent 5 years at Kosmic Sound after returning from San Francisco where he studied Audio Engineering at the College for Recording Arts .
During this time, experience was gained in all aspects of the professional audio industry including producing, engineering, mastering, live sound and video production.

Since inception, the original mandate of professional products with professional service has been maintained.

In 2010 Sinclair Communications opened a brand new fascility in Bayswater incorporating a world class demonstration recording studio for clients to audition professional equipment. Also, Stuart James operates his Soundfield Studio from these premises.

This facility is also used to hold seminars and workshops from visiting interstate and international manufacturers and importers.
